El COPAC asesora al Secretario de Alimentaci\u00f3n y Agricultura de California en materia de educaci\u00f3n, divulgaci\u00f3n y asistencia t\u00e9cnica para los productores org\u00e1nicos del estado. El comit\u00e9 est\u00e1 compuesto por 15 miembros principales m\u00e1s suplentes para cada puesto.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Alexandre Family Farm cuenta con la certificaci\u00f3n org\u00e1nica desde 1999. Son 21 a\u00f1os cuidando de sus vacas alimentadas con pasto, 21 a\u00f1os dando a sus hijos un asiento en primera fila en la producci\u00f3n org\u00e1nica y 21 a\u00f1os ofreciendo los huevos y productos l\u00e1cteos m\u00e1s nutritivos y sostenibles posibles. Recuerdo perfectamente la primera vez que compr\u00e9 un paquete de huevos Alexandre Kids. La yema era tan amarilla -casi naranja- y rebosaba color, nutrientes y sabor. Habiendo crecido en una peque\u00f1a ciudad de las afueras de California, hab\u00edamos vivido cerca de algunas granjas org\u00e1nicas, pero nunca hab\u00eda \"entrado en raz\u00f3n\", como dir\u00eda Alice Waters, hasta que abr\u00ed un huevo producido por la familia Alexandre.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Durante diez de esos 21 a\u00f1os, adem\u00e1s de ser madre y gestionar la explotaci\u00f3n org\u00e1nica con su marido, Stephanie Alexandre form\u00f3 parte de la Junta Directiva del CCOF. Stephanie y su marido Blake ejemplifican el compromiso con la excelencia en la producci\u00f3n org\u00e1nica, y fueron reconocidos por su dedicaci\u00f3n al movimiento en el\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ccof.org\/es\/blog\/ota-honor-ccof-leaders-expo-east\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Premios al liderazgo org\u00e1nico de la OTA 2018.<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Stephanie y Blake han descrito su tierra del norte de California como \"una peque\u00f1a parcela del cielo\".
