CCOF Announces New Slate of Board Members and Officers
(March 9, 2006) Santa Cruz, CA CCOF, the oldest and largest organic certifier in North America, has announced a new slate of board members and officers for 2006. Among them are representatives from every part of the organic marketplace including educators, farmers, processors and experts from throughout the organic community. CCOF’s Board is composed of CCOF certified organic clients and supporting members. The body oversees the financial, education, advocacy and trade association aspects of CCOF. In addition, they maintain oversight over the wholly owned certification arm of CCOF, CCOF Certification Services LLC. The CCOF Certification Services, LLC Management Committee is composed of non-certified volunteers who oversee the function, performance and service aspects of CCOF’s organic certification programs.
