The Full-Time Service Model and Certification Service Specialists

Have a question about certification? Want to know who to call? Want a dedicated contact at CCOF? We have good news for you.

It's a Family Tradition

CCOF’s annual membership meeting will take place at the top of a series of anniversary events – Celebrating Forty Years of Growing Organic Agriculture. The meeting will be held 9:00–10:00 a.m. this Wednesday, January 23, in the Kiln Room at the Asilomar Conference Center in Pacific Grove, California. This meeting is an opportunity for CCOF members to meet with each other, CCOF staff, and board members to let us know what’s on your mind (there will be an open microphone!), so please join us!

Updates to National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances

Earlier this year, the National Organic Program published a final rule renewing over 200 listings on the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances that were scheduled to expire this year. The rule also made changes to the substances listed below. CCOF has contacted affected clients directly; however, if you use any of the materials listed below and have additional questions, please contact us.

Innovative Approaches to Organic Certification

From livestock to residues, unannounced inspections, and materials, CCOF is always trying to stay ahead of the curve.

Long Live the Materials Evolution

Improvements for Materials Tracking and Approvals Continue: We have heard loud and clear that one of our clients’ biggest frustrations with the certification process is the paperwork surrounding input materials approval. In response, CCOF has been undergoing a materials evolution focused on making the process more efficient and less burdensome. We hope that you will find these changes to be positive, and welcome your feedback at any time!
