CCOF Chapter in Mexico Elects Leaders

In May, CCOF members in Mexico formed a new CCOF chapter. As their first order of business, the Mexico Chapter members elected the following chapter leaders:

President: Esteban Macías Padilla, Grupo U
Vice President: Daniela Robles, Grupo Alta
Secretary: Dante Gutiérrez Medina, Berrymex Baja California
Treasurer: Lois Christie, Christie Organic Consultants, Inc., and Tequila Sauza
Board Representative: Eduardo Morales, Promotora Agrícola El Toro 

Carmela Beck, National Organic Program Manager with Driscoll’s and a key organizer of the Mexico Chapter, commented, “Driscoll’s applauds CCOF’s efforts over the past few years to increase its presence in Mexico. Organic producer, processor, and livestock operations in Mexico will now have even more access to CCOF’s first-class services.” CCOF welcomes the new chapter in Mexico!
