CCOF is Hiring—Multiple Certification Positions Available!

CCOF Certification Services, LLC is seeking three certification specialists to work in the Santa Cruz, California office performing tasks related to organic farm (crop/livestock) certification. The certification specialist positions will be open in early December, and recruitment has begun. These positions will work within CCOF’s rapidly expanding USDA National Organic Program and internationally-accredited organic certification program.

Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment with significant job responsibilities. Certification specialists require knowledge of organic production practices, the ability to work both independently and as a team with other professionals, superior customer service skills, the ability to manage data accurately, and the ability to work within a regulatory environment. Day-to-day work requires proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe programs and comfort with detailed internal procedures and systems that are subject to change as the organization continues to evolve. CCOF Certification Services, LLC is also seeking certification operations assistants to work in the Santa Cruz, California office performing tasks related to organic certification. These positions perform a wide range of daily tasks associated with customer service and organic certification that are essential to the certification process, including direct communication with members, data entry, copying, mailing, and writing letters. These positions require administrative, communication, and business skills, as well as superior customer service skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
