CCOF is Hiring a Director of Farm Certification

CCOF Certification Services, LLC (CCOF) is seeking a director of farm certification to work in the Santa Cruz, California office. The director will oversee CCOF’s farm-level certification programs within CCOF’s rapidly expanding USDA National Organic Program and internationally-accredited organic certification programs in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, as well as CCOF’s Food Safety Services program. This position may also implement new add-on programs.

This is a senior management level position for a self-directed, career-minded individual with good judgement. Applicants must have extensive knowledge of organic certification, standards, personnel management, and program oversight, and must also have the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment with demanding job responsibilities.

The CCOF director of farm certification is responsible for CCOF’s organic certification programs for grower and livestock scopes within the USDA National Organic Program and international certification programs. Additionally, this position provides oversight and management of CCOF’s new GlobalG.A.P. Food Safety program and Spanish services. This position is responsible for consistent application of regulations and procedures by certification staff and supports certification staff in their work.
