Meet John Gove & Get Involved with the Future Organic Farmer Grant Fund

Want to support future organic farmers while also celebrating the growth of organic? Join us for our “We Are Organic” Dinner in Monterey, California on December 12. All proceeds from the dinner support the CCOF Foundation and are invested in growing organic futures. Reserve your seat today and come celebrate with us!

The Future Organic Farmer Grant winners were judged to have the strongest combination of commitment to leading a lifelong career in organic agriculture, investment and participation in the organic community, and dedication to growing the organic movement. Each grant recipient will receive $2,500 to apply toward their studies in organic agriculture.

John Gove
John Gove grew up on a small, diverse vegetable farm and will be the seventh generation of his family to take it over. Throughout his first year studying horticultural science, vegetable and fruit production, and sustainability at Michigan State University, Gove’s eyes were opened to organic farming. He hopes to be able to further his education and implement organic practices at his farm to better serve his community for years to come.

Congratulations John!

Please join us in congratulating the recipients of the CCOF Foundation’s Future Organic Farmer Grants.
