The California Department of Food and Agriculture’s (CDFA) Environmental Farming Act Science Advisory Panel will host its next meeting on May 18, 2017 in Sacramento and will vote to finalize the Healthy Soils Program framework. One year after California Department of Food and Agriculture’s (CDFA) Secretary Karen Ross led a delegation to Israel on a California Climate-Smart Agriculture Policy Mission, CDFA and the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will co-host a forum on water and agriculture. This year, at the Organic Trade Association’s (OTA) Expo East kick-off dinner and awards event on September 21, the entire meal will be verified organic by CCOF.
