Vote Now and Help CCOF Accomplish its Mission

The voting period for amendments to CCOF’s membership bylaws is now open and ends October 2, 2017. If you haven’t already, please check your mailbox or email inbox for these important materials. A 10 percent quorum is required to enact these revisions to the bylaws. The amendments to the bylaws will allow the board to form chapters to include currently unrepresented members, improve board operations, and support growth of the CCOF Foundation.

Why is this vote important?

As outlined in CCOF’s 2016-2018 Strategic Plan, CCOF fulfills its mission through a tri-part structure. The umbrella entity, CCOF, Inc., is governed by a member-elected board of directors and headed by an Executive Director/CEO. CCOF Certification Services, LLC, established in 2003, is a wholly owned subsidiary of CCOF, Inc. and is governed by a management committee appointed by the CCOF, Inc. Board of Directors. CCOF Certification Services is led by a staff executive (President of CCOF Certification Services, LLC) who is hired by the management committee. Also established in 2003 is the CCOF Foundation. Its governing trustees are appointed by CCOF, Inc.
