The Organic Trade Association (OTA), a membership-based association with the mission to promote and protect organic trade, recently launched an online resource to help foster growing relationships between U.S. organic producers and foreign buyers. Their U.S. Export Directory, a searchable database of U.S. organic producers, is easily navigable, allowing foreign buyers to search out organic agricultural products based on company name, product type, business type, or region, and in seven different languages! The site also includes background on U.S. organic production, a directory video, and details about OTA’s Organic Export Program. If you’re interested in being listed in their directory, simply enter your information on the site.

You can also stay up to date on organic requirements for countries around the word by visiting OTA’s Global Organic Trade Guide. This website gives you the most up-to-date information regarding organic regulations, import requirements, government contact information and much more, in an easily searchable map format. The site also includes export and import tools, and market data on some of the top importing countries.
