Since 2017, CCOF has proudly partnered with Matt Seeley and Tonya Antle, co-founders of the Organic Produce Network (OPN), to host the Organic Grower Summit. Typically around this time of year our staff would be hurriedly securing all the last-minute details of the CCOF Foundation’s Annual Benefit Dinner at the summit. Past speakers at this dinner have included Travis Forgues, vice president of farmer relations at Organic Valley, and Jacob Pechenik, co-founder with actress and activist Zooey Deschanel of The Farm Project and Lettuce Grow.

These benefit dinners, provided by the Organic Produce Network, a longtime Visionary-level supporter of the CCOF Foundation, have been a powerful opportunity for us to share our grant recipients’ stories with a large network of organic growers, many of whom have traveled across the country to attend the event.

This year, while we lament that we cannot be together in person, we are grateful for the Organic Produce Network’s decision to put safety first and take some of the events’ content online. Find out more about these events and register at OPN’s website. OPN remains a loyal Visionary-level supporter of the CCOF Foundation, and the generosity of Matt Seeley and Tonya Antle has left a lasting impact on the Foundation’s ability to grow, educate, and train organic farmers and producers across North America.
