Los envases de la\u00a0Proyecto comunitario Ceres<\/a>una organizaci\u00f3n sin \u00e1nimo de lucro que promueve la producci\u00f3n y el acceso a alimentos sanos y sostenibles como base de la salud, ha publicado un\u00a0nuevo informe<\/a>\u00a0en el que se describen sus esfuerzos por promover cambios pol\u00edticos y sist\u00e9micos en favor de un mundo sano, justo y sostenible. Ceres ofrece comidas org\u00e1nicas adaptadas a las necesidades m\u00e9dicas de familias en crisis.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ceres, una organizaci\u00f3n asociada al CCOF, tiene su sede en los condados californianos de Marin y Sonoma y se centra en tres objetivos principales de cambio de pol\u00edticas y sistemas:<\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n
  1. Demostrar que las comidas adaptadas a las necesidades m\u00e9dicas y otras intervenciones alimentarias como medicamentos mejoran la calidad de vida y los resultados de los pacientes, al tiempo que reducen los costes sanitarios.<\/li>\n
    <\/figure>\n
  2. Alterar la atenci\u00f3n sanitaria para integrar comidas adaptadas a las necesidades m\u00e9dicas y otras intervenciones alimentarias como medicina en la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica como costes m\u00e9dicos facturables y reembolsables.<\/li>\n

  3. Promover la alimentaci\u00f3n sostenible y org\u00e1nica como estrategia clave para mejorar la equidad sanitaria y abordar la salud personal, medioambiental y clim\u00e1tica.<\/li>\n

    El informe describe programas piloto eficaces e investigaciones sobre comidas adaptadas a las necesidades m\u00e9dicas; el trabajo a nivel local, estatal y nacional para apoyar la integraci\u00f3n de la alimentaci\u00f3n sana y la educaci\u00f3n nutricional en la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica; y la promoci\u00f3n de alimentos org\u00e1nicos y criados de forma sostenible.\u00a0<\/p>\n

    Ceres participa en la iniciativa de la Fundaci\u00f3n CCOF\u00a0Hacia una California org\u00e1nica<\/em><\/a>\u00a0y est\u00e1 trabajando con CCOF en la expansi\u00f3n de la equidad en los sistemas alimentarios org\u00e1nicos. La CEO de Ceres, Cathryn Couch, habl\u00f3 en la Conferencia Anual 2019 de CCOF en una charla titulada \"El verdadero costo de los alimentos: Lo org\u00e1nico es tu Mejor Plan de Salud\".<\/p>\n
