Join CCOF and the Farmer Veteran Coalition (FVC) for a webinar on labeling your organic produce with twist ties, clamshells and more!

Attend this webinar to learn about different organic labeling techniques for growers. This online training will provide a step-by-step process for developing labels that comply with the USDA National Organic Program standards for produce packaging. We’ll also explore labeling requirements for wholesale organic agricultural products and organic direct-to-consumer sales.

Once you achieve organic certification, the question becomes, “How do I leverage the organic label to best communicate my organic growing practices to customers and maximize sales?” This webinar will demonstrate various ways to market your organic product with the correct labels while still meeting regulatory requirements. Labeling methods will cover both organic wholesale and direct-to-consumer approaches. Krista Wanser and Patti Bursten Deutsch of Organic Education Solutions will review the USDA National Organic Program requirements for labeling organic produce. FVC’s Matt Smiley will share his experience with organic labeling at Jacobs Farm, an international organic vegetable, fresh herb, and edible flower farm based in California.
