Description of Organization and General Function:

The Homeless Garden Project (HGP) is a nonprofit organization based in Santa Cruz, CA that provides job training, transitional employment and support services to people who are homeless. As an important complement to these programs, HGP operates a vibrant community volunteer and education program. The training, employment, education and volunteer programs take place in an organic farm and related enterprises.

Farm Crew Leader

Green Tractor Farm is a certified organic family farm growing mixed vegetables and cut-flowers in La Cienega, New Mexico (20 minutes south of Santa Fe). The farm operates on 3 acres. The farm serves local markets including: 2 weekly farmers markets, local natural food stores, a small CSA, a food hub and restaurants.

Green Tractor Farm is a fun and fast-paced place to work. The physical nature of the work is both challenging and rewarding. The farm crew at the height of the season typically consists of 3-5 people.

Organic Vegetable Farm Crew

The Natural Trading Company Organic Farm is looking for bright, enthusiastic, hard-working people to help with field, greenhouse, and packing shed work. We are looking for candidates who are motivated, dependable, and able to work quickly and efficiently with the physical stamina to work long days outside in challenging weather.

Organic Farmer


The Ridge market garden field manager candidate will direct and coordinate farm activities. In the first stage the focus is to develop the farm productive systems, which include, to prep and amend growing beds in its different sections, irrigation system, germinate and propagate vegetables and perennial plants, develop production system in one the greenhouses (three in total by the summer), to manage the planting of the fruit orchard. All of this done with respect and care for soil and the land.
