Pisga Organic

1601 Old Stage Rd
Salinas, CA 93908
United States

I started Pisga Organics in 2011 after graduating from Salinas\' Farmer Education. I leased 1.5 acres of land in ALBA\'s Small Farm Incubator and began growing crops like cilantro, parsley, tomatoes, bell peppers, beets, chard, and even three kinds of soy beans. Today, I manage 4.5 acres and am selling to ALBA\'s wholesale distributor, ALBA Organics. I also sell my produce directly to customers at farmers\' markets in Monterey County. I work on my farm full-time and get help from my husband and from one of my sons.
