Located in Durham, California, our vineyard is in the heart of a farming community that is known for its rich and fertile soil. Our grapes are harvested and sorted by hand then crushed, fermented and cared for by our family. We are committed to making high quality wines that are a pleasure to drink.

Family is a big part of World Variety\'s success. The Melissa\'s brand is named after Joe and Sharon\'s daughter, who takes an active role in the company. Through the years, the company has found stable growth thanks to the support of very loyal customers and a close-knit family of employees dedicated to customer service. Established in 1993, California Specialty Farms began as a boutique shipper. Specializing in organic and conventional fresh herbs, hand carved vegetables and sourcing the unique "bits & pieces" needed to fullfill culinary appetites of all kinds, was and remains one of our hallmarks. Although times have changed and the specialty produce world has evolved, our desire and commitment remain the same! From the smallest overnight package of a single pound of product, to commercial air containers or full truck shipments with pallets of mixed commodities- we are feeding the world.
