Produce Stand (PS)

Chris and Cheryl are natives of Western Colorado, growing up in Palisade and Hotchkiss. The farm has been in Chris\' family since 1957 and was an active peach farm through most of the 1980s. The land was fallow for 30 years. Chris is a practicing neuropsychologist and is currently president of the Mesa Conservation District which works in concert with NRCS. He enjoys the new scientific and technological challenges used in organic farming.

Monte-Bellaria di California, located in the Russian River Appellation, specializes in local, all natural agricultural produce. West Sonoma County\'s mild Mediterranean climate yields incredible lavender, and other fine produce. We use these crops to produce our own soaps, fragrances and essential oils.

The Desert Farming Initiative (DFI) is a collaboration between the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), College of Agriculture, Biotechnology, and Natural Resources, Nevada Agricultural Experiment Station (NAES), and Cooperative Extension. DFI is a diversified commercial farm at UNR which serves as a demonstration, education, outreach, and research farming program. The program is comprised of multiple hoop houses, greenhouses, the capacity to produce 12 acres of row crops, and a 2-acre vineyard.

Santa Clara University\'s ½-acre edible garden is a hub for sustainable food system education. Established in 2008, the Forge Garden has committed to serving the campus as a space for course research, service learning, and demonstration of sustainable food production. The Forge Garden currently has six chickens, four beehives, a 400-square foot greenhouse, a compost center, over 20 fruit trees, over 15,000-square feet of garden beds, a public commons, an aquaponic system, an outdoor kitchen, and the 2007 Solar Decathlon House used as an office.

At Bee Green Farm, all our produce is grown organically. We are located in Three Rivers, California meaning our water is pristine and out soil is rich in minerals. We take advantage of these ideal conditions and grow the best produce our farm can.

The Good Life Farm is a family-owned organic citrus grower in Temecula, California. We believe that as farmers, we have the privilege to care for the land and nourish our communities.
