Stephen Pavich immigrated to the Central Valley of California in 1953 and started living his dream of growing wholesome foods with his wife and starting a family farm. One day, working in the vineyard, he was overcome by pesticide fumes. This unpleasant experience lead to a revelation and from that point onward he was committed to using pesticide-free methods for agriculture. Today, his legacy has expanded into the world’s largest grower of organic grapes.
