Help Produce and Food Safety Associations Develop Trainings on Cleaning and Sanitizing Best Practices

by Guest Blogger |

To better understand produce industry’s education and training needs on topics related to cleaning and sanitizing, the Western Regional Center to Enhance Food Safety invites you to take a short survey. It should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

The survey is a collaboration among Oregon State University – Western Regional Center to Enhance Food Safety, United Fresh Produce Association, Produce Marketing Association, National Farmers Union, and the Food & Drug Administration’s Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN).

The results of the survey will help guide the development of a cleaning and sanitizing workshop and education materials on best practices for cleaning and sanitizing to meet the Food Safety Modernization Act Produce Safety Rule requirements.

Your participation in the survey is appreciated, voluntary, and confidential. Your answers will be anonymous, meaning the responses will not be connected to your name or contact information. Completion of any part of this survey implies your consent to participate. Your responses will be combined with the responses of all other participants. You will not be individually identified on any report prepared. You may decline to answer any question in this survey by skipping it.

If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact Stephanie Brown by email at

If you voluntarily agree to participate in the survey, please visit the Oregon State University website to fill out the survey form

Please note, the survey will close on June 30, 2020.
