All CCOF certified clients automatically become members when they get certified. Members belong to one of 14 chapters based on their geographic region. All CCOF certified processors belong to a single chapter regardless of location.
About the Chapter
The chapter is located in the central -southern part of the Sacramento Valley. Some of California’s founding organic families still farm in the Capay Valley of Yolo County. The chapter includes two tribal farms. Chapter members raise a diversity of organic crops and products including mixed vegetables, nuts, fruit, olives for oil, cattle, rice, processing tomatoes, and seeds. It also includes businesses that offer certified organic services including packing houses and nut hullers and shellers.
