Are you an aspiring organic inspector? Do you know someone who is?
We’re excited to share that applications are now open for the Southwest Organic Workforce Fellowship. This is a nine-month fellowship and mentorship program designed to develop the next generation of organic inspectors in the Southwest region of the U.S. (Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Utah). It is being offered by the Accredited Certifiers Association (ACA) through the NOP’s Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP).
The fellowship is seeking candidates with residence or strong ties to the Southwest, including:
- Early career inspectors with limited field experience
- Farmers or agriculture professionals transitioning to inspection roles
- Certification staff moving into inspection roles
- Active inspectors seeking to add a new scope
Fellows will receive one-on-one mentorship, expenses-paid attendance at the ACA Annual Conference in Albuquerque (January 2026), professional training, and valuable industry connections.
Application deadline: December 4, 2025 (applications reviewed on a rolling basis and may close early)
Please share the attached flyer with anyone in your network who might benefit from this opportunity. Interested candidates can apply directly here: Southwest Organic Workforce Fellowship application or contact Susie Grundler at susie@accreditedcertifiers.org with questions.
Let’s work together to strengthen the organic inspection workforce!
