Big Valley
All CCOF certified clients automatically become members when they get certified. Members belong to one of 14 chapters based on their geographic region. All CCOF certified processors belong to a single chapter regardless of location.
About the Chapter
The Big Valley chapter represents one of California’s most productive agricultural regions, encompassing much of the delta and the northern portion of the San Joaquin Valley. Merced, San Joaquin, and Stanislaus counties ranked among the top 10 most agriculturally productive counties in the United States in USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture.
The Big Valley’s highly diverse chapter membership includes nut growers and packers, dairies, cold storage facilities, wineries, feed dealers, fruit and vegetable growers, and food and snack manufacturers.
