Get Expert Organic Advice at the EcoFarm Conference!

by Molly Nakahara |

Are you headed to the 44th Annual EcoFarm Conference? Schedule your free, one-on-one consultation with an organic expert and get answers to all your certification questions while you are attending the conference! On behalf of the CCOF Foundation, Jamie Collins, organic farmer and long-time organic inspector, will be hosting Organic Office Hours throughout the entire EcoFarm conference as a part of the “Meet the Experts” sessions.  Email Jamie at organictransitionprogram@gmail.com to reserve a private consultation.

These consultations are available to producers and other ag professionals regardless of certification status or certifier. If you are curious what it may take to get your operation certified, Jamie can help you map out the next steps. Wondering how to understand if a material is allowed in organic? Jamie can teach you how to search for approved materials.  Action items to resolve for an existing certification? Jamie can help you understand what your certifier needs to see to maintain your organic status. Be sure to schedule in advance as timeslots are limited and will fill up fast!

In addition to these in-person sessions at EcoFarm, Organic Office Hours occur virtually every Tuesday from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm PST, via Zoom. Anyone and everyone are welcome to join the Zoom meetings at which Jamie answers questions, looks at documents, supports you in completing your Organic System Plan and application, and provides expert advice on all things organic certification. Please check the CCOF events calendar to find the Organic Office Hours schedule and zoom link at https://www.ccof.org/page/calendar.
