CA Cannabis Advisory Committee to Meet on January 18

California’s new Cannabis Advisory Committee will meet on January 18 in Sacramento for the first time in 2018. The committee was formed by the Bureau of Cannabis Control (BCC) to advise the licensing authorities on the development of standards and regulations regarding the best practices and guidelines to protect public health and safety. CalCAN Summit Recap

The 4th Climate & Agriculture Summit at UC Davis was, by all accounts, CalCAN’s most successful Summit yet.

The daylong gathering on March 25 brought together 320 participants, including 65 farmers and ranchers from across California. Our 60+ speakers, panelists, moderators and poster presenters were uniformly excellent, demonstrating the amazing diversity and expertise of CalCAN’s partners and friends.

Cast Your Vote in the CCOF Big Valley Chapter 2018 Election

The CCOF Big Valley Chapter (BV Chapter) election voting period is open until Thursday, June 28. If you are part of the BV Chapter, make sure your voice is heard!
 
Your vote is vital to the member-driven democratic process of electing CCOF leadership. 
The CCOF Chapter Bylaws require a 10 percent quorum of chapter members for election purposes. The Big Valley Chapter currently has 189 members, which means we need 19 votes to fulfill a quorum.  A simple majority ratifies a vote.
