3 Star Lettuce

Founded in 2001, 3 Star Lettuce dedicates itself to doing lettuce well. 3 Star Lettuce gets its name from the three types of lettuce it focuses on iceberg, romaine, and mixed. Since then, 3 Star Lettuce has come a long way expanding both its staff and its innovations in lettuce. Its first development, called the Heatmaster, is a type of iceberg lettuce that can withstand the heat of desert areas. Another innovation created by the company is the Platinum variety of romaine lettuce. Platinum lettuce is popular because it has the same color on the outside of the head as it does on the inside. This consistency in coloration is what makes it so attractive among growers.
